Introduction
01:33
|
|||
Welcome all, short and tall, the big and the small, young and old, to you a story will be told, an unusual tale unto you will unfold.
A common story with a familiar twist a journey brought about by a simple kiss.
Years ago in lands of past was born a boy to life he grasped.
Upon his birth was left a task but like us all he wore a mask.
But he grew up tall and he grew up fast and into a man he grew at last.
Anything that could, as it would, did go wrong, and though not fair, through the struggle, made him strong.
And as we must, all on his own, he can and did set apart to leave his home.
He traveled far and he traveled long, until he could not travel more.
His legs were tired, his feet raw rubbed, until at last in the distance he sees a pub.
He approached the door and entered fast and grabbed a seat at the bar, he could not believe he had made it this far.
As he sits and gains his wits the first sip of his drink, he gives a great big sigh as it hits his lips.
As he drinks the glass tips, he could not help notice, the seat across from his a beautiful siren sits.
Her dress made sheer and as it appeared, unlike the rest her mask was clear.
She staring at him and him at her, and in his chest his blood it stirred.
Although he tried with all his might he could not pry his from meeting her eyes.

Hey You
04:09
|
|||
Hey you
Out there beyond the breakers Wont you talk with me for a while Stand sit dance and smile
What are you waiting on me for
Are you coming around Staring down at the ground Well just lift your head up Hey You
Hey you
Out there beyond the breakers Are you worried about the future I can't take it anymore
Are you coming around Staring down at the ground Well just lift your head up Hey You
Some people you just can’t reach
Doesn’t mean you should stop sticking out your hand though Sometimes I wonder
Sometimes I just want to know
Are you worried about the future
I can't take it anymore
Are you coming around Staring down at the ground Well just lift your head up Hey You

The Park
01:08
|
|||
Her response was hushed,
but still she blushed,
she moved with grace never rushed.
Their eyes they locked as she crossed the floor as the barkeep fills his glass with another pour.
My name is Fame,
mine is Might,
I'm pleased to meet you on this night of nights.
I don't usually do this, I just couldn't resist, but would you mind if I buy you a drink? The night shuffled on and oh how they talked, they laughed as they left to go for a walk.
They walked and talked, and night howls barked, as they came to rest in a dimly lit Park.
And there as they stand, he reached for her hand, and said FAME you're a girl and I'm a man.
I know this is blunt, and I know this is fast, but would you let me kiss you, could you remove your mask?
She responded soft and responded quick and without a sound she gave him a kiss.
Open were his eyes, and to his surprise, though her mask remained, his blood did rise. I understand your hesitation, and thank you for the kiss, tis' all I need on a night like this.

I See Your Shadow
04:08
|
|||
I see your shadow
The ways in which you tear me down
In the distant hours of the night
It breaths its life back into me
I sit at the outskirts of this town
A wandering minstrel amongst a world full of clowns I sat there waiting for you
But you bring me up just to bring me down
The rain outside is so strong
And the water washes it all away
In the outskirts of some strung out town
In the places where the demons stay
The hours where the days turn to night
A broken dream up in a sun setting night
I've found myself a place amongst the thieves Where the angels and devils play for me
I sit at the outskirts of this town
A wandering minstrel amongst a world full of clowns I sat there waiting for you
But all you do is bring me up just to bring me down

Love
00:59
|
|||
Days came and went, and Might gave Fame his heart.
As love does, things can move swift, like a bubble that surrounds you, that can pop with a prick.
It's a curious feeling so weak yet so strong, like you've known this feeling all along.
So one softly lit night, And just as things do, he moved in closer under the dim lit moon.
The space between them grew small, and so it proved, this would be the perfect time to make his move.
Might said, "FAME, would you remove your mask?" it appeared to him to be a simple task.
"Love I see through, low your mask it is clear, I would not judge, for I love you my dear."
"Your love it is strong, and I will sing your song, but to remove my mask would only do harm."
"I don't mean to pry, but I had to try, I simply desire, to gaze unfeathered into your eyes."

Our Voices
03:25
|
|||
I can hear it in your voice
Through the darkness in the room It's not an if, it's not a choice
But like the air that we consume
A visceral moment
A violet as it blooms
All these words remain unsaid
But they echo through the room
But we have no more choices
Just the people that we meet
And the sound of both our voices
In the silence makes us weak
Oh we were made to fall in love
But in the shadow's where we sleep No more letters left to send
And the time is what we keep
But we're made to fall in love
Oh we were made to fall in love
I can see it in your eyes
Through the light within the room It's not hello but just goodbyes
And like the air that we consume
A beautiful moment
A violet as it blooms
All these words remain unsaid
But they echo through the room
But we have no more choices
Just the people that we meet
And the sound of both our voices
In the silence makes me weak
But we're made to fall in love
But in the shadow's where we sleep No more letters left to send
And the time is what we keep
But we were made to fall in love
Oh we were made to fall in love!

All Of You
00:28
|
|||
"Fame my dear, you're my closest friend, nothing could cause my love to end." "Please stop asking. Please respect my wish. Won't you please be satisfied with just a kiss."
"I want to Fame, I really do, but I want to fall in love with all of you.
I will respect your wish, as you have done mine, I trust you will, but all in due time"

Take My Time
03:50
|
|||
So take my time
And I'll take yours
Just drink my wine
And I'll drink yours
Just lose our minds
Out on some distant shore We'll be just fine
Just cast your fears aside
Just remember this ain't no fairy tale
So go on your way
And I'll go mine
Ain't no use in wasting both our time Because I offered it and its real
But I can't seem to figure out how you feel So just move along
And I'll keep keeping on
Just remember this ain't no fairy tale
So just free your mind And I'll free mine We'll cross the line And take our sides You'll live your life And I'll live mine
Just don't waste my time Cause my time is mine
Just remember this ain't no fairy tale

Just Go
00:44
|
|||
The longer love sits, the spell dispels, bells turn to whispers, from the heavy swells. No different was this, and as the story goes, time it moves on, just as the wind blows. "FAME I can't let this be, it's time for me, I cannot truly love someone I cannot see." "Then leave, just leave, if that's your stance, but I cannot continue to entertain this dance."
"Accept me as is, or leave just go."
"I can't and I won't, I need to know. You should've removed your mask weeks ago!" "No, just no!"
Might stormed across the floor. He could not take any more, and just as he left FAME slammed the door.

Up step
01:42
|
|||
I've waited far too long
For a place amongst the King and Gods For you to stand in my way
If you think you're gonna stop me try Because Im much too strong
A million hands up all along
And I'm much too smart
And then I fit in a single song
You Better Watch Yourself
I don't mind
If you coming along now for the ride
But up Step your pace
I can tell you're scared from the look on your face Tell your quiet mind
Don't you stay around for too long
Cause I ain't got space
for the ignorant mind what a waste
You Better Watch Yourself
I made it by myself
So you don't get to stay
But Up Step your pace
I can see the truth from the look on your face And tell your friends
Cause they ain't never seen no one like me Step up your game
Cause I kicking it up and Im taking names
You Better Watch Yourself

A Bee to a Rose
00:24
|
|||
The longer he brewed, mad turned into sad and Might understood, he turned around right where he stood.
He clenched his hands, and right where he stands, he knew it would be wise to rethink his plans,
His head held low, and still in repose, he retraces his path, like a bee to a rose

Coming Back To You
02:39
|
|||
It's 4am and I'm awake
These thoughts keep stumbling and running through my brain These nights are driving me insane
There's nothing I can do there's no one but me to blame
I have trouble fitting where I belong
I would've stayed a while but instead Im staying long
Lord have mercy down on me
You're drinking wine but the wine is drinking me
And it seems likely that they'll never see it from the outside But I can't do it on my own with no one by my side
And if I tell you that I understand the fact is I always knew
I just keep on coming back to you
I keep on drifting on the sea
Every time the waves crash down they take a piece of me But I keep floating like I do
The sun it sets oh as it falls just out of view
I live my live my life just like a wave
I'll watch it roll until it breaks
I'll just keep floating on the same
And live my life like the ocean when it rains
And it seems likely that they'll never see what life is all about But I'll keep trying to convince you without a doubt
That if I tell you that I understand the fact is I always knew
I just keep on coming back to you

Conclusion
01:14
|
|||
His heart filled with love,
As he found his way back,
He wished, how he wished, he could take it all back.
The love filled his core, as his feet graced the floor,
As he came back to FAMES house and swung open the door.
The creak of the wood, well it broke the mood, and there Fame unmasked, and naked she stood.
"My love's just a trick, you're frail and your weak, I gave you a glimpse of the wonder you seek.
You should've been happy, with the way that things were.
The feelings you hold, are not sharp they're a blur,
and the vision you seek is the sick not the cure.
My mask though it's clear, hides greed, lust, and fear,
you fell deep in love whilst staring into a mirror.
The things you don't see are not far they are near, the things that you seek are you, now and here."
She turned around quick, in her hand the disguise, and tight in the other she brandished a knife.
"Don't hide your eyes, you shouldn't have pried, I didn't want you to see, but you do and I tried"
Her eyes black, hallow, stark, with no love no remorse, as she plunged the knife right into his heart.
The world disappears, it's all smoke and mirrors, the things that you seek are you, now and here.

Burn out my eyes Staring at the sun
Fortune and fame are fleeting but they're fun but I can't wait around
My feet are on the ground
There places to go so Im afraid I have to run
Get up, Get up, Get up, Get Down
Turn up the sound and make it groove
Its me and its you so you'll have to move
But I can't wait around
With my feet on the ground
There's people to see so Im afraid I have to run
Get up, Get up, Get up, Get Down
Turn up the soil and plant my seeds Unfortunate as you but I do as I please But I can't wait around
My feet on the ground
Theres things I gotta do so Im afraid I have to run
Get up, Get up, Get up, Get Down
